Idaho--The Way To Go!

Ok! So! MFC stands for Materials and Fuel Complex. That is where Rick works at in the lab. He is sort of finishing up the project he worked on last year, and some other projects that they have given him. The lab gates had guards with M-16's at the entrance, which was sort of intimidating when I drove Rick and his friend Adam to work. It really is out in the middle of nowhere!

So! For more on what we did, we saw Pirates of the Caribbean II (finally!) which was SO good! I had been waiting to watch it with Rick, so I was so psyched when we saw it! We also went to the Farmers Market in Idaho Falls, and an art show that they had. Rick bought two cards of paintings that are really cool. We are going to frame them and hang them up in our apartment next year :).

We also went out to dinner a couple times, both to mexican food places. Yummy! Bummer around Target a lot, picking out future furniture for our apartment. There is so much I want to get! Later in the afternoon, on one of the days where it was really hot, we drove around and looked at all these really nice custom-built homes just a little bit out of Idaho Falls. They were so pretty. All of them had full basements too. They were really nice.

The company picnic for INL on Saturday was a lot of fun as well. Rick got suckered into playing soccer with about 20 other guys, which was kind of funny to watch them all run around. Most of them had worn flip flops, so there was a lot of guys out there running around barefoot. Ouch! It was rather humerous watching all these engineers run around on a little tiny field. I don't know how they could tell who was on what team. There was so many people out there! I sat with the wives as I watched them play. LOL.

I had such a blast while I was there! Rick bought me a really cool Van Gogh puzzle of Starry Night, and the entire picture of Starry Night is made up of little pictures of outerspace. I can't wait to put it together! We are going to frame it and hang it in our living room. We want to have a nice place next year, not the typical looking college apartment.

There you can kind of see the little individual pictures. It's really really cool. Probably the coolest puzzle I have ever seen. But it will definently be hard. We are going to put together a bunch of puzzles and use them for wall art. Its cheaper than buying paintings. :D

Well, anyways, this entry is getting a little lengthy so I shall go.
